Normally KF fiber has very good propertiese.g. high strength, high modulus, acid resistance, low density, etc. But,because of its low surface energy, it is very hard to add fiber into polymerand very difficult to make two barriers sticking together. ATT surface treatment would solve this problem. After treatment, KF fiber can be easily disperse in polymer and two barriers can be stick together. It can make high quality composite materials.
